Finding “The Best Classroom Management Model” that works best with the teacher’s personality and that of their class is easier if you know what your desired outcome is.  The best classroom management models teach social/emotional intelligence, learning structures, and discipline. Classroom management is easy when students demonstrate a high level of social emotional intelligence and near impossible when students are emotionally immature. Rules and class structures that are innately followed are far more productive than rules followed out of fear of retribution. ! School rules are easy to follow when emotional intelligence is your guild. Students need to understand the rules are not a top down process based on a teacher’s whim but are for the student, to maximize the learning, and create a successful learning atmosphere!



Bottom line you have to Model and Model the desired behavior you’re seeking. You can use literature, plays, role-play and current events to build and explore model behavior.
