Obama gives Monsanto protection, why? The Monsanto
Protection Act is a bad idea? Yes! Obama is giving Monsanto and other company’s
federal protection against lawsuits; that seems to be one more bad decision
that could impact the health and wellbeing of a new generation of children. If
something is safe for the public why do they need protection from lawsuits? We
aren’t really sure if exposure to chemicals in our environment increases the
incidence of Autism, ADHD, and ADD. Maybe we should err on the side of caution
and remove chemicals and GM foods from our children's diet, and do more research
before we move forward. Genetically modified crops, engineered with pesticide
resistance, and insect resistance is an unknown that should be avoided. We live
in an ever expanding chemical laced environment that could be harming our
children’s health and wellbeing. Lets get the Wall Street crowd out of our politics and make them accountable.
